Glass City Dog Park Site Plan
The Glass City Dog Park will feature three separate off-leash areas over the more than four-acre parcel of land. The small dog area, in the Northeast corner of the park, offers an exclusive spot for dogs under 25 pounds to play and socialize while handlers can relax on one of the many benches or get out of the sun under the open air shelter.
The park also includes two separate large dog areas, totaling more than three acres. In the South-most area of the site, the main large dog area, spread over two acres, dogs over 25 pounds can run free in a safe and clean environment. In the Northwest corner of the park, a third area, provides ample room for special events, K-9 unit training and a special place for Lucas County Canine Care & Control animals to occasionally exercise.
All together, the Glass City Dog Park brings together the Northwest Ohio community in a way never seen before.
